The Tallahassee law firm of Coppins Monroe is seeking an experienced , full-time legal assistant, preferably with litigation experience. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Word, able to multitask, prioritize, work as part of a team, and communicate effectively. Duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling (hearings, depositions, mediations, and other court dates), maintaining heavy litigation calendars, drafting legal documents and other correspondence, e-filing in state and federal court systems, helping with trial preparation, and other duties as needed. This is a HYBRID position: Monday and Friday are work-from-home days, and Tuesday-Thursday are in-office workdays, so candidates must be local.
